And ive read a few this year that were utterly bleak but beautifully written which turned out to be some of my favorites (BTF & Swan Song). Ive read a few fucked up books varying in different degrees but most read like they were written by people who just wanted to write fucked up stuff for the sake of it (Hogg & COWS).
